Tangkuban perahu is located at north Bandung, West Java, exatcly at Cikole, Lembang. Tangkuban perahu have a distance about 30km from Bandung, so it wouldn't takeich time to get there. It can be reach by motorcycle, car, and public transportation. Tangkuban perahu is a legend from sundanese, legacy of the myth "sangkuriang". This beautiful mountain called tangkuban perahu because the shape of this mountain is look alike an upside down ship.
There is so many seller at tangkuban perahu, most of them are souvenir amd some instant food & drink. You could walk to the top of it and take a look from the edge to see the crater. The atmosphere was so romantic, with tiny cold fog surrounded this location.
There is so many clump trees all along the way up to the top of the mountain.
The ticket to enter the tangkuban perahu is variative. For local tourism it is Rp.20000 and for foreign Rp.150000. For mptprcycle is Rp.12000, meanwhile for car is Rp.15000. Those are the price for weekdays, meanwhile in weekend the price increased. Rp.30000 for local tourism and Rp.200000 for foreign, Rp.17000 for motorcycle, and Rp.20000 for car.
Tangkuban perahu closed at 7 p.m, but you could drink some hot coffee or wedang outside the tangkuban perahu till 8 or 9 p.m.
